CFA requires successful completion of an audition or portfolio review.
BU Hub First-Year Writing Seminar (4 credits). In addition, for those entering Boston University in fall 2019, students must complete the other four courses in Questrom’s suite of gateway courses having earned a minimum grade of “C” in three of the following courses, and no less than “C–” in the fourth course. Students may only repeat each course one additional time. Students who don’t earn a “B” in their first attempt at taking SM 131 and/or FE 101 or SM 132 may take them a second time in an attempt to earn a grade of “B” in the second attempt. Questrom requires a 3.00 GPA and at least a “B” in SM 131 and FE 101 or SM 132. COM CO 101, SED 100/101, and SHA HF 100 must be successfully completed with a minimum grade of “B” before applying for dual degree in those schools. You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to apply for admission to a dual degree program. For admission to the DDP, you must be accepted by both schools/colleges. Refer to the appropriate school or college section of the Boston University Bulletin for more information. A practicum, portfolio, audition, foreign language requirement, internships, etc., may be required for successful completion of the degree. Please note that the school/college degree requirements go well beyond the list of courses needed for each major. Before making an appointment for information about DDP, you should read this document and review the degree requirements in both schools.
